Is there anything that you would suggest I retain in revising the class?

Revising Papers

I hope that the email I sent out yesterday has found you all in goof spirits.
As I have mentioned, I will be available to help you revise your papers if you're choosing to do a third draft of your papers. I thought that it may also be a good idea to open an entry on this blog dedicated to paper revisions.

This is mostly experimental and it will only work if the entire class contributes. You can use this blog to post parts of your essay you are having trouble working with. You will be able get feedback from your classmates. This is an attempt to create an opportunity for peer revision.

I encourage you all to use this blog freely to get suggestions, feedback and advice from your peers. This may or may not work, but it should be a great way for each of you to expand your own ideas and see what your fellow classmates are writing/written about.

Tue, Oct 30 Make Up Entry

Remember: 

Students for College Now  will make up the Tue, Oct 30th  class on the class blog. I want you to seek out a movie scene (suitable to post on the blog) and write up a 500 word analysis that will accompany the posted scene. After posting your scene and analysis, you will have to comment (in at least 250 words) on TWO classmates’ blog entries  and respond in 100+ words to TWO comments made in response to the entries. This assignment will be due on Sat, Dec 8th.
